Schmaz – Schwuler Männerchor Zürich
Since it was founded in 1990, the schmaz – schwuler männerchor zürich has kept its name small and its quality standards high. The approximately 45 talented singers, led by the passionate choirmaster Ernst Buscagne, are proud that the name schmaz has stood for outstanding amateur choral singing for over a third of a century.
Our voices open doors and enable encounters in places where the visibility of the LGBTQI+ community is still not a given. With our music, we break down prejudices and build bridges. The schmaz looks back with pride on more than 33 years of commitment to building bridges and looks forward to more sonorous connections in the future.
