Monument preservation Winterthur
The preservation of monuments is a service in the public interest. Its mission is to preserve the uniqueness and diversity of Winterthur’s townscape. To this end, it provides expert advice and financial support for conversions to buildings worthy of protection. These are also listed and documented in an inventory. Public events are also held on a regular basis, at which the Heritage Agency provides information about its own work and selected topics.
